Formed strategic partnerships with leading self-services and security providers, enhancing AU’s capability to service the technology needs of Saudi Arabia's banks.

1996

AU aligned with IVI (International Verifact Inc), Canada’s leading EPOS provider, pioneering ePayments with terminals running on Al Waseet, boosting multi-lane ePayments requirements.

2007

AU expands its self-services banking universe, partnering with a leading Bank to introduce the first ATM with Bulk Note Acceptance capability, creating an era of self-services innovation.

2008

First EMV transactions in the KSA were performed by a Hypercom ePOS terminal powered by AU. AU enriched its ePayments software application to comply with EMV and SPAN standards.

2014

AU becomes the first vendor capable of accepting contactless payment transactions in KSA.

2016

AU was the first to introduce Multi-Function Banking Kiosks, issuing and printing ATM Cards instantly.

2017

AU achieves ISO 9001:2015 certification, further strengthening our credentials.

2018

In line with the 2030 digitization vision, AU led the industry with certification of its TETRA-powered Ingenico Terminals. With future-proof OS and security mechanisms, it bridges secure payment and open web-standard environments.
